I will be sharing some fun/funny stories from the lives of our little MKs. This Sunday after service Alex, the man pictured here, came up to me. He had preached this week at ICF and he shared that Cooper had come up to him before service and had encouraged him and told him “You can do this” “You will do a great job preaching”. No one asked Cooper to do this. Chris and I wouldn’t have ever known if Alex didn’t share it with us.

Then I look up and see the flag waving (the one that is usually outside the doors). Our kids had worked together to bring it inside, without being asked or told to help. They just saw that it was out there, saw that the last few adults were busy closing up and shutting off lights and decided to help. (Granted they were probably hungry and tired but still).

I love seeing our kids growing up, serving, and growing in their God given gifts. My prayer is that this life we lead continues to impact our kids and change the way they see the world and see people. So often we worry about “Are we doing the right thing” in regards to them but times like this show us that they are growing, learning, and thriving.
